Dr. Samiullah Khan, CSO, Fakhruddin Holdings – Shines at the Middle East Engineering Recognition Awards 2025

Dubai, UAE – The Middle East Engineering Recognition Awards 2025 (MEERA), hosted by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) UAE Chapter, took place on 15th February at the prestigious JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai. The event brought together the best minds in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering, recognizing ground breaking contributions in innovation, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

Among the distinguished honourees of the night, Dr. Samiullah Khan, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Fakhruddin Holdings, stood out for his exceptional contributions to the field. Under his visionary leadership, Fakhruddin Holdings received two of the most coveted awards of the evening:

✅ Innovative MEP Project of the Year
✅ Sustainability Project of the Year

These prestigious accolades were awarded for the ground breaking work on the “Treppan Hotel and Suites by Fakhruddin”, a project that has set new industry benchmarks in sustainable project, cutting-edge MEP design using DACC to improve indoor air quality and save energy, and green house café contributing to the national food security using radiant cooling and IOT based engineering solutions.
