Pilot ESG Leadership Mentorship Program to Launch in Dubai This January

As organizations across the UAE and GCC continue to strengthen their sustainability and governance commitments, the demand for practical ESG capability is increasing across sectors. Responding to this need, Lumeya ESG Solutions will launch the pilot edition of the ESG Leadership Mentorship Program: Strategy, Reporting & Implementation in mid-January 2026.

The program will take place at the Best Futurion Global Training Center in TECOM, Dubai, and will be delivered as a five-day, 30-hour, in-person mentorship designed to equip professionals with applied ESG skills that can be implemented directly within their organisations.

Bridging the ESG Capability Gap

Many organisations are adopting ESG frameworks and reporting requirements at a faster pace than internal teams are able to operationalise them. While awareness of ESG has grown, professionals often face challenges in translating standards into strategy, measurable performance indicators, risk management processes, and implementation roadmaps.

This pilot mentorship program has been designed to address that gap by focusing on practical application rather than theory, supporting participants as they work through real ESG challenges commonly faced by organisations in the region.

Applied, Mentor-Led Learning

The program is led by Mayank Sharma, a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional with over 17 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, and HSEQ across the UAE, GCC, and India.

Participants will engage in a structured learning journey that combines guided sessions, workshops, group exercises, and case studies covering:

• ESG strategy and governance
• Stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment
• ESG KPIs and performance measurement
• Risk management and supply chain due diligence
• ESG scoring and internal audits
• Reporting aligned with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISSB
• Implementation planning and ESG roadmapping

The mentorship format allows for interaction, discussion, and feedback, supporting deeper understanding and practical skill development.

Designed for Regional Professionals

The program is intended for professionals working across sustainability, ESG, engineering, facilities management, HSE, compliance, risk, consulting, and corporate governance functions, as well as government and semi-government entities.

Whether participants are transitioning into ESG roles or strengthening existing responsibilities, the training is structured to reflect the real operational and regulatory context of the UAE and GCC markets.

A Focused Pilot Cohort

As a pilot edition, the mentorship is delivered to a limited cohort to maintain an interactive and high-quality learning environment. This approach ensures participants benefit from close mentor guidance, peer learning, and meaningful engagement throughout the five days.

Supporting the Next Phase of ESG Development

As ESG expectations continue to evolve, building internal capability has become a strategic priority for organisations across the region. This pilot ESG Leadership Mentorship Program represents a step toward developing skilled professionals who can support credible, effective, and measurable sustainability outcomes.
