This presence underscores France’s commitment to supporting sustainable development in the region through technical innovation.

Opportunities in a Growing Market
The UAE’s construction sector, a key part of its economic diversification strategy, contributes nearly 11% of national GDP. Valued at USD 95 billion in 2024, it is projected to reach USD 118 billion by 2030, with an average annual growth rate of 5%.
With over 10,700 active projects and initiatives such as the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 and Abu Dhabi Economic Vision, the UAE is the second-largest construction market in the Gulf. Across the GCC, ongoing projects exceed USD 1.3 trillion, making the region a global hub for infrastructure and real estate development.
Rapid urban growth—Dubai’s population is projected to reach 6 million by 2040—is driving unprecedented demand for housing, infrastructure, and hospitality. Sustainability has become a key priority for governments, developers, and contractors. For French companies known for energy efficiency, advanced materials, and architectural innovation, this presents a significant opportunity to support the region’s sustainable transformation.
