June 29, 2024 – Sustainable City Dubai UAE – The “Carbon Credit Capture” symposium, held recently in SEE Institute was a resounding success, bringing together visionaries, industry leaders, and environmental enthusiasts dedicated to promoting sustainability and innovative solutions for carbon sequestration.

Eng. Maitha Alblooshi, an emerging visionary leader in the field of diversity in sustainability, played a pivotal role in the symposium, showcasing her expertise and commitment to environmental stewardship. Her insights were complemented by the inspiring words of the chief guest, Ahmed Alhefeiti, CEO and Founder of Wadi Dafta Plantation. Alhefeiti’s address emphasized the critical importance of sustainable practices and the role of innovation in driving environmental progress.

The event featured a keynote speech by Dr. Samiullah Khan, Chief Sustainability Officer Fakhruddin Holdings whose insights captivated the audience and set the tone for the discussions that followed. Another highlight was the presentation by Chandra Dake, Founder of Ghaba Trees and Breathable Sands, who shared groundbreaking advancements in sustainable technologies.

The symposium also recognized the invaluable support of the SEE Institute, which played a crucial role in the event’s success. Dr. Jacinta Dsilva was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her representation to the field of sustainability. In a special segment, Leyong Wang CEO and Founder of Sustainable Constructions Leyong Group was honored for his early bird participation in the upcoming Carbon Credit Workshop, scheduled for August. This workshop has already registered an impressive 2,000 trees, marking a significant step towards achieving tangible carbon reduction goals.

The “Carbon Credit Capture” symposium not only highlighted the importance of carbon sequestration but also celebrated the collaborative efforts of individuals and organizations dedicated to creating a sustainable future. The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering innovation, and inspiring action towards a greener planet.
